Kayakers

people say i'm crazy –
I got diamonds on the soles of my shoes

And I could say oo oo oo
As if everybody knows
What I'm talking about
As if everybody would know
Exactly what I was talking about
Talking about diamonds on the soles of my shoes

but if you asked,
I would tell you

That I also remodel old houses with a passion for their antiquity. I can spot vinyl siding from a mile away. The dog is old but happy and healthy, and will bring you a toy if you visit. The cat is 108 in cat years. And the front porch needs redoing. This summer maybe.
